Match detail

We are waiting for the kick off.
Weather conditions are not ideal as it has just started to rain in Pretoria.
.01: The Bulls kick off and we are underway.
.20: The Bulls win a line out and pass it down the line, Morne Steyn makes a break and races for the corner and scores - TRY!
.00: Steyn takes the conversion kick but misses it.
.00: The Bulls are putting the Force under plenty of pressure in their 25. It's all the Bulls so far.
.00: It looks like the Force are going to have a long afternoon as the Force's scrum is struggling against the Bulls scrum. The pitch is also struggling after the earlier rains.
.00: The Force get some go forward ball and then out of the blue Sias Ebersohn goes for a drop goal and nails it.
.00: The Force have weathered the Bulls early storm and are starting to win the territory battle. However another scrum collapses on the slippery pitch.
.00: Ebersohn kicks for touch to relieve pressure from the Bulls and finds it deep in Bulls territory.
.00: The Bulls break out after a line out and Sampie Mastriet splits the Force's defence. Eventually Winston Stanley stops him but the Force concede a penalty.
.00: Morne Stey takes the penalty kick and nails it.
.00: There is a bit of aerial ping pong going backwards and forwards and eventually the Bulls kick it out and effectively the Force win territory.
.00: Chiliboy Ralepelle fell awkwardly in a tackle and is struggling. He may have to come off.
.00: The Force are enjoying a much better game compared to last week with the ball in hand. They go through the phases and the Bulls are caught not rolling away. Ebersohn will kick for posts.
.00: Ebersohn nails the penalty which keeps the Force in touch with the Bulls.
.00: Rallapelle concedes another penalty so Ebersohn will get a chance to kick the Force into the lead. He nails it. The Force lead.
.00: Penalty to the Bulls. Morne Steyn takes the kick and this time he is on target. The Bulls lead.
.00: The Force are playing the territory game well. The Bulls are having to play the game in their half most of the time. Another bout of kicking backwards and forwards takes place and this time the Bulls win.
.00: The Bulls all of a sudden break out and Bjorn Basson gets space on the wing and scores. He races away and scores but we go back to check with the TMO to see if there was a forward pass. There was a forward pass so the try is not awarded.
.00: The Force move the ball down their line but the ball is forward and goes to no one so we have a line out inside the Bulls half.
.00: The Bulls form a maul and then win a penalty. Matt Hodgson comes off injured (probably hamstring) and the Bulls kick for touch as Chris Alcock comes on.
.00: The Bulls win a line out and form a maul. The siren sounds and Steyn goes high for Basson but Alfie Mafi snatches the ball and we go back for a penalty. There is no time for a line out so Steyn will kick for posts.

The half time score was Bulls 14 Force 9

.00: Sias Ebersohn nails the conversion and the scores are level.
.00: Jacques Potgieter stands up after a tackle and goes straight down again like a punch drunk boxer. He may have to come off for a concussion test. He comes off and Jean Cook comes on for his first cap.
.00: Scrum penalty to the Bulls. They kick for touch and get good attacking field position. The Bulls win the line out and they form a maul. They get to 5m out and start to recycle the ball down the line. Flip vd Merwe is not looking and gets tackled and goes down. The game is held up by his injury. The Bulls have a penalty. They kick for touch.
.00: The Bulls win the line out which is about 8m out. The ball is slow but comes out and they move the ball down the line. The Bulls are in full attack but they are actually losing ground. Nine phases and they start to get over the gain line. They move the ball wide and then they concede a penalty after 13 phases.
.00: The Force run the ball from the penalty and they race down the field. After a couple of phases they get to the line and Toby Lynn goes under and scores the TRY! The Force lead. The TMO checks it and all is fine.
.00: Sias Ebersohn takes the conversion and nails it.
.00: It's a relly physical game this is and Sam Wykes who has just replaced Hugh McMeniman has to go off for a concussion test and McMeniman comes back on.

.00: The Force are on attack but the Bulls come up so fast that they knock the ball on. Force scrum.
.00: The Force concede a penalty in the Bulls half so Steyn will kick for touch. Both teams appear to be winding the clock down with injuries. Bjorn Basson goes down for real though with what looks to be ligament damage and he is helped off.
.00: The Bulls put together 10 phases driving forward as they look for the bonus point try. 12 phases. 14 phases. 16 phases but stuck in the Force's 22. 18 phases. 20 phases and they get to the line but can't get over.
