The Western Force have played the Melbourne Rebels five times since the Rebels joined Super Rugby in 2011.

Out of five Super Rugby matches between the teams the Force have won once and lost four times.

That means that the Western Force have won just 20% of their matches against a team that is five years youger than them.

The average score when the Force play the Rebels is Western Force 27 Melbourne Rebels 28.

The Force and the Rebels have played each other twice in Perth and the Rebels have won both. Earlier this year the teams met in Melbourne and the Rebels won as well.

In Perth the average score when the teams play is Force 28 Rebels 29 and in both of the previous Perth matches the Force finished within a point of the Rebels.

At the time of writing the Force had not named their team to face the Rebels. We are not expecting any big changes other than Chris Eaton missing the match due to the passing of his wife.

The Rebels have named Scott Higginbotham as the captain of their team after Gareth Delve had to withdraw.

The Rebels have also made several changes to their team for this week as they will be coming back from South Africa where they had two losses.

The Rebels beat the Force earlier this season but since then they have lost every match. It's unlikely that their losing streak will end this weekend after a disastrous tour.

The Bookies have given the Rebels a 6 point start for this Match - with an offer of a FREE $150 BET. The Force should be fresher than the Rebels and they may have a little extra motivation due to Chris Eaton's loss. The Force should win this by three.

This Match will be shown on TV in NZ, Aus, SA and in the UK on the Sky Sports website and Red button on SS2.

Average score: Western Force 27 Melbourne Rebels 28
