Waratahs winger Lachie Turner's Super Rugby season has been cut short for the second year in a row after he suffered a broken leg whilst playing club rugby last weekend.
Turner was playing club rugby for Eastwood and went into a ruck which collapsed on him causing the injury.
The winger missed most of last year's Super Rugby season due to a hamstring injury and has now suffered another injury in the same leg - his right leg.
Turner comes off contract at the end of the season and has already had surgery but says that he is expected to be out of action for the year.
"I went into a ruck and I was over the ball trying to steal it," Turner told the Sydney Morning Herald.
"A guy got trapped behind my legs and then my feet and they were caught. And then, I got cleaned out by a couple of Randwick blokes and it just collapsed underneath me."
Turner has struggled for selection this year and has only won two Super Rugby caps in 2013.
