Former Western Province and Sharks halfback Conrad Hoffmann will play Super Rugby for the Brumbies in 2014 and 2015.
Hoffman will join fellow South African scrumhalf Lionel Cronje in Canberra as the pair have both signed two year contract.
Cronje revealed on his Twitter account that he will be moving from the Lions to play for the Brumbies on Monday.
On Tuesday Volksblad newspaper revealed that Hoffman will leave the Stormers and Western Province to join the Canberra side.
Hoffman left Western Province at the end of the 201 Super Rugby season and his playing time has been limited by injuries.
He returned to Cape Town this year and although he has been training with Western Province he has been playing club rugby for Hamiltons.
