The Southern Kings have announced that they will play warm up matches against Super Rugby teams the Cheetahs, Lions and Stormers next year.
The Southern Kings were relegated from Super Rugby after they finished last in the South African conference and have been replaced by the Lions.
Earlier this year the Lions - who had been relegated - played warm up matches against the other South African Super Rugby teams and the Kings are doing the same in 2014.
EP Rugby CEO, Charl Crous, confirmed that the three friendlies with South African Franchises, the Cheetahs, Lions and Stormers will take place at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium next year.
Crous said that kick off times for the games are still being finalised.
The fixtures are:
25 January: Southern Kings VS Cheetahs
1 February: Southern Kings VS Lions
7 February: Southern Kings VS Stormers
