Queensland Reds head coach Nick Stiles has named a side with one change to the squad for this week’s match against the Force in Perth.

Stiles has retained all but one of the 23-man squad that beat the Sharks 28-26 in Round 1.

Prop Taniela Tupou has been named in the reserves following the completion of his two-week suspension due to foul play in the Brisbane Global Rugby Tens.

Izaia Perese remains in line to make his Queensland and Super Rugby debut, after missing out on taking the field in last week’s match.

Stiles said: “We were pleased to get the win at home in Round 1, but this week presents a fresh challenge. We know there’s plenty of work to do.

“This is our first away trip of the season and also our first Australian derby. It’s an important match and no doubt both teams will be fighting hard for a win. It’s always an arm wrestle against the Force.”
