Retallick to return for Chiefs after break

Hamilton Super rugby team the Chiefs have confirmed that All Black star Brodie Retallick will be available for selection after the team’s bye.

Retallick Retallick withdrew from Friday’s match after getting a poke in the eye at training but the Chiefs say that he will be available for selection next week.

The Chiefs have a bye this weekend but return in Round 5 with a match against the Bulls at the Waikato Stadium in Hamilton.

The Hamilton side also lost Shaun Stevenson before kick off against the Blues as he injured his knee in the warm-up and will be assessed this week

In longer term injuries Nepo Laulala fractured forearm requiring surgery and is expected to be out for 8-12 weeks

Atunaisa Moli had complications from a quad hematoma which required surgery has been ruled out for the season.

Tim Nanai-Williams had surgery on Friday to stabilise his shoulder and he too has been ruled out for the season.
