The 2015 Rugby Championship was the fourth tournament in the annual rugby union series between the national rugby union teams of New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, and Argentina. Australia won the title for the first time.
The format was a shortened one with each team playing each other once, rather than twice (home and away). This was done to give the team’s more preparation for the Rugby World Cup which started mid-September.
The first Rugby Championship match in 2015 was played a month earlier than usual on the 16th of July and the last was on the 8th of August.
Each team played the other twice on a home and away basis. At the end of six matches each New Zealand were crowned as Champions.
