Sharks confirm more player departures

Durban based Super Rugby franchise the Sharks have confirmed that Kyle Cooper and Paul Jordaan will leave the Union at the end of the season.

Having made his debut in 2010, Cooper who currently has a combined tally of 99 matches for The Sharks (Super Rugby & Currie Cup) will be joining the Newcastle Falcons in England.

The Sharks have also confirmed that speedster, Paul Jordaan will join French top 14 side Stade Rochelais.

Director of Rugby, Gary Gold, said,” It’s always sad losing players of their calibre; but they have decided that the time is right to experience a new playing culture in a different country.”

“They both have made significant contributions to the Sharks over the last few years and we would like to take this opportunity to wish them, as well as their families, the very best for this new journey.
