17.00: TRY! Cyle Brink bounces through a couple of Sharks players on his way to the try-line. The Lions are destroying the home team on the wings. 8-12

19.00: CONVERSION! Jantjies with another good kick. 8-14

21.00: The Sharks are pinged at the scrum. Jantjies kicks to halfway.

23.00: The Lions have a perfect opportunity to attack with a scrum under the Sharks’ posts.

25.00: Another penalty goes against the sharks because Akker van der Merwe did not use his arms in a tackle. Scrum, Lions, under the sticks.

27.00: Van der Merwe steals the ball, but is carried over his goal-line. 5m scrum, again, under the posts.

28.00: NO TRY! Whitely picks up from the base of the scrum, pops to Jantjies, who goes over under the posts. But, the TMO rules a forward pass and the try does not stand. 8-14

30.00: We are still scrumming under the Sharks’ posts. It’s been six minutes. Bosch clears to the 22.

33.00: The game is very lethargic. The home team cannot get out of their 22. Lions are dominating.

34.00: Aphiwe Dyantyi puts in one of his little grubbers, but Van der Merwe gets back to save the day for his side.

37.00: Sharks have a throw inside their half. They carry the ball forward and are near the Lions 22.

38.00: Sharks get a penalty and will take a shot.

39.00: PENALTY! Du Preez slots the kick from in front. 11-14

40.00: TRY! Malcolm Marx bounces his way down the touchline and he sends Kwagga Smith away for the score. 11-19

68.00: TRY! What’s going on here? Lwazi Mvovo, thrust into the starting line-up for Sbu Nkosi, scores the Sharks third try, racing away down the sideline. 26-24

72.00: The game is entering the business end, can some magic win it for the visitors, or will the home side stay in the race for a playoff berth?
