The Sharks have played the Waratahs 8 times in Durban and they have four matches and lost four.

The Waratahs have lost their last two matches in Durban where they have not won since 2009. This match will be the Sharks first match at home this year.

28.00: TRY! Waratahs on the attack after the lineout, Hegarty chips it over the Sharks defence and Folau is there to receive it to get his team on the board.

29.00: Reece Robinson adds the extras.

31.00: PENALTY! Sharks going for posts.

32.00: It good from Bosch, who adds another three to halt Waratahs’ momentum.

33.00: He has certainly had an impact since coming onto the field to replace Lambie. The Tahs need to score next to stay in this game.

34.00: PENALTY! A chance for Bosch to extend the lead with an easy shot at goal.

35.00: It’s no problem for the youngster.

37.00: The Tahs have a scrum near the halfway line. Time is almost up in the first half.

39.00: Turnover Waratahs after the Sharks knock forward but no advantage had been played and they go back for the scrum.

40.00: TRY SHARKS! Jacobus Van Wyk with the score. The hooter goes off and the Waratahs try to attack and win a penalty. Nick Phipps takes it quickly but Van Wyk intercepts the ball and there is no one to catch him.

41.00: Bosch adds the two and the Sharks put a dagger to the Waratahs’ heart with another interception.

The visitors need to have a think at the break; playing fast and loose and the Sharks have punished them with two opportunistic plays.

That was a disastrous first half for the Waratahs. More of the same from the home team and it could get messy.

BEEP! Hegarty gets the second half on the way with a deep kick-off as the Tahs look to put pressure on the home team.

44.00: Soon after the reset kick the Sharks apply pressure and win the ball back. They find some space, almost scoring but, the referee blows for a penalty to the Tahs. They opt for touch.

47.00: Some aerial ping-pong taking place.

49.00: The away side kicks it behind the Sharks goal line and they dot it down. Sharks take a deep 22 drop-out. Kick returned by the Tahs as they win the ball back in a good attacking position.

50.00: The Sharks apply pressure on a kick and win a penalty near the Tahs try line. They opt for goal.

51.00: It’s good. Sharks keep their noses in front.

54.00: The Tahs looks to run at the Sharks in the midfield. Folau sends a kick through but it goes off a Sharks player and now the Tahs have to work back hard to secure the ball.

57.00: Coaches emptying the benches as scuffles break out. Frustration is high for the visitors.

80.00: The siren sounds but the Tahs are still attacking looking to score a final try. They seem to go nowhere as the Sharks’ defence holds up and wins a turnover.
