The final match in Round One of the 2016 Super Rugby season is the second South African Super Rugby derby between the Stormers and the Bulls.

We are waiting for the kick off.

The Bulls kick off and we are underway.

Both teams testing each other’s defensive structures.

8.00: After some frenetic play from both sides the Bulls win a penalty. They choose to kick for posts. Francois Brummer takes the shot at the posts and nails it. The Bulls lead.

14.00: Penalty to the Stormers in front of the posts. Robert du Preez lines up and takes the kick. He nails it and the scores are level.

21.00: Penalty to the Stormers for offside. Du Preez lines up the kick and again he nails it. The Stormers lead.

27.00: The Bulls win a penalty back. Brummer lines up the kick and nails it. The scores are level.

34.00: Another penalty to the Stormers. Du Preez slots it and extends the lead.

40.00: The siren sounds for half time. It is half time.

The half time score was Stormers 9 Bulls 6

The second half is underway.

43.00: The Stormers are awarded a penalty. Du Preez takes the kick but its so high the TMO is called in to review it. After much discussion and reviewing their original decision to award the penalty stands.

48.00 The Bulls are awarded a penalty so Brummer slots it to cut the deficit a little.

50.00: The Stormers win a line out and they keep it in the forwards with a line out drive but then they go wide and Robert du Preez races for the line after selling a dummy pass and dives over to score. TRY!

51.00: Du Preez slots the conversion to make it five from five kicks.

60.00: The Stormers are gaining momentum and looking stronger as the game progresses. Both teams bringing on replacments.

62.00: Kobus van Wyk limps off the field after rolling his ankle.

64.00: The Stormers bring on Leolin Zas who makes a break down the wing. The Stormers keep the ball moving forward and they get to the foot of the posts where Eben Etzebeth goes over to score. TRY!

66.00: Du Preez adds the conversion.

74.00: All of the Bulls replacements are now on the field. The Stormers have one left on the bench.

78.00: The Stormers set up a line out 22m out and they use the maul and drive all the way to the line.  Scarra Ntubeni scores the bonus point TRY.

79.00: Du Preez adds the conversion.

80.00: Time runs out for the Stormers as the siren sounds and the ball is taken into touch.

The Stormers win with a bonus point.
