Sunwolves ring the changes for Jaguares

Sunwolves head coach Filo Tiatia has named his team to play the Jaguares at Velez Sarsfeld in Buenos Aires Argentina on Saturday.

The match will be the Sunwolves fourth match on tour after a three match tour of New Zealand.

“The team sees some changes in the backs and I am delighted to name Timothy Lafaele as the game captain of the Sunwolves for this Saturday. Tim has played exceptionally well so far of this season and I’m confident with his ability to lead the team, ” said Head Coach Filo Tiatia.

We welcome back five players and can’t wait to see the energy they can bring into the group. Takeshi Hino, Keisuke Uchida, Kenki Fukuoka, Shota Emi, and Ryohei Yamanaka, most of them have been playing for the Japan team in Asian Rugby Championship.

“Returning from injury and conditioning includes, Shota Emi and Kenki Fukuoka, both will provide speed and strong finishing from the outside. We are really enjoying our time in Buenos Aires and looking forward to this special occasion of playing the Jaguars at their home stadium. ”

“This tour has been a great challenge and I’m happy with how the boys have grown as a team. This weekend will be the perfect opportunity for us to show what we learned from New Zealand teams and finish off this tour in a good form. Regular captain Edward Quirk will start from the bench. ”

“Takeshi Kizu, Heiichiro Ito, Hayden Cripps, Fumiaki Tanaka and Teruya Goto have returned home due to injury and will miss the clash.
