Bulls beat Sunwolves in Singapore

The Sunwolves return to Singapore when they host South Africa’s Bulls in the third match on Saturday in Super Rugby.

We are waiting for the kick off.

The Sunwolves kick off and the match is underway.

1.00: The Sunwolves kick the ball upfield and chase. The Bulls lose the ball and Andrew Durutalo dives over to score. TRY!

3.00: Tusi Pisi adds the conversion.

5.00: Penalty to the Bulls. Tian Schoeman lines up the kick in the Sunwolves 22. He nails it.

8.00: Another penalty to the Bulls. Schoeman takes the shot but misses this one.

10.00: Adriaan Strauss looks to have taken a knock but he carries on after some attention from the medics.

13.00: The Sunwolves win a penalty at the breakdown. Tusi Pisi lines up the posts and nails it.

16.00: Penalty to the Bulls. Schoeman takes the kick at goal and this one he nails.

19.00: Tomas Leonardi concedes a penalty and is shown a yellow card for slowing the ball down.  Schoeman will take a shot at goal for the penalty.

21.00: Schoeman takes the kick and nails it.

24.00; Penalty to the Sunwolves. Riaan Viljoen kicks for touch. The Bulls kick the ball back and Viljoen and Basson go for the ball. Viljoen is penalised and Schoeman kicks for touch and the line out.

25.00: The Bulls win the line out and they use the maul to drive over the line and Adriaan Strauss scores. TRY!

27.00: Schoeman adds the conversion.

28.00: The Bulls win a penalty. Schoeman takes the kick but he makes little ground. The Bulls win the line out and chip ahead and chase but they knock on.

33.00; Leonardi is back on. The Bulls have a 5 scrum. They win the scrum and drive over the line but they are called back for accidental offside.

35.00: The Bulls concede a penalty from the maul again – accidental offside. The Sunwolves have a scrum.

36.00: The scrum collapses and has to be reset.

39.00: Penalty to the Bulls. Schoeman lines up the kick, takes his time but misses.

40.00: The siren sounds for half time.

43.00: The Sunwolves break down the wing and get the ball up to the 22m line. They do however knock on.

44.00: The Bulls win a penalty from the scrum. Schoeman kicks for touch. He slices it.

46.00: the Bulls win a line out on the 5m line and they drive over the line and  Roelof Smit scores. TRY!

47.00: Schoeman takes the conversion kick from outwide. He curls it in.

50.00: Penalty to the Sunwolves. Tusi Pisi takes the kick and reduces the gap to 10.

52.00: The Bulls win a penalty. Schoeman kicks for touch and the Sunwolves are given a general warning for infringements.

55.00: The Sunwolves win a line out but then fumble the ball, they regain the ball and get the ball to Akihito Yamada who races for the line. Warwick Gelant comes in with a “not a lot of arms” tackle but knocks himself out almost. Gelant will have to come off for a concusssion test but the TRY is awarded.

57.00: Pisi adds the conversion. The Bulls lead by three.

59.00: Penalty to the Sunwolves. Riaan Viljoen hits it well from well out but he hits the post.

63.00: The Bulls try to run the ball but Adriaan Strauss takes his eye off the ball and knocks on.

65.00: The Bulls rumble the ball up to the Sunwolves tryline. They go through 8 phases and drive over but they are held up. 5m Scrum.

65.00: The Bulls win the scrum and they go for the line. The ref cant see a grounding so the TMO is called in. Pictures are inconclusive according to TV commentators but the try is awarded anyway. Jamba Ulengo is the try scorer.

66.00: Schoeman adds the conversion.

67.00: Ed Quirk is yellow carded for an infringement at the breakdown. The bulls kick for touch.

68.00:After the line out the Bulls concede a penalty. They kick for touch.

70.00: The Sunwolves run the ball and get it to Yamada but he is shoved into touch. Try saver.

74.00: The Bulls win a line out but as they set up the maul they knock on. Sunwolves scrum.

76.00: The Sunwolves win the scrum but then the ball is taken into touch. The Bulls win the line out and go through the phases in the Sunwolves 22.

78.00: Sunwolves are not giving up. They put the Bulls under some pressure in their 22. The ball however goes into touch. The Bulls win the line out and kick upfield.

79.00: The Sunwolves still attacking in their half. They win a penalty  and the Bulls fail to retreat so the Sunwolves get another penalty and they kick for the corner.

WOW ! Yuki Yatomi slices through the Bulls defence for the Sunwolves and scores. TRY!
