The Blues have named wing Rudi Wulf in their starting line-up for Friday’s Super 14 rugby match against the Highlanders at Eden Park in Auckland after putting on a star performance last week.

Wulf gets another chance on the left wing because of the hamstring injury to the in form Anthony Tuitavake.

Tuitavake hobbled off during last Saturday’s 38-13 win over the Reds and was replaced by Wulf.

Wulf scored two tries and remains in the backline that has seen one further change – David Gibson for Steve Devine at scrum-half.

Full-back George Pisi returns to the 22 with a place on the bench available through Wulf’s elevation.

Angus Macdonald comes back from injury to take over from Justin Collins at blindside flanker in the only other change.

Coach David Nucifora has retained his hard working tight five who successfully held up the big Reds forward pack.
