Tana Umaga’s leg injury is the only worry in the Hurricanes camp after their great start in the Super 14. Even this is not a real concern though as Ma’a Nonu eyes a possible midfield spot against the Western Force in New Plymouth on Saturday.

Umaga left the field during the Hurricanes’ 37-19 win against the Blues in Auckland on Friday. Hurricanes coach Colin Cooper has said that Umaga had strained his Achilles and calf.

But even this minor injury has not started panic in the Hurricanes camp due to their depth.

“We’re going to have to manage the players carefully to keep their enthusiasm up because there were some good players who missed out on the 22 last week,” Cooper said.

Umaga will now be assessed on Monday.
