Chiefs coach Ian Foster is ruing his team’s high error count in the 30-21 loss to the Sharks, in Durban.

“I felt we made a lot of the play but we weren’t good enough in executing our game. That allowed them to live off turnovers and they grew in confidence from there,” Foster said.

“We won’t be too happy when we look at the tape and see the number of handling mistakes we made in contact. We ended up chucking the ball away.”

However Cooper said he was pleased with his side’s fitness levels. “The fitness levels have definitely come up but the challenge is to continue it and maintain the workload.”
