The Cats have named their team to play the Blues and again captain Wikus Van Heerden has been left out of the squad. Earl Rose has kept his position inspite of huge crticism from ex springbok captain Joost van der Westhuizen during the week.

The Cats had arguably their best second half this season last week against the Force coming back with a try after full time to level the scores.

Delarey du Preez continues as hooker and his recent try scoring record must surely be going a long way in keeping him as first choice hooker.

Ricky Januarie’s poor recent form sees him dropped from the starting lineup after struggling against the Force. Jaque Fourie had a great game last week and he comes in at outside centre and is partenered by springbok second choice Wayne Julies.

Andr’ Pretorius retains the captaincy.

Cats:

Earl Rose, Conrad Jantjes, Jaque Fourie, Wayne Julies, Wylie Human, Andr’ Pretorius, Jano Vermaak, Ernst Joubert, Trevor Hall, Cobus Grobbelaar, Willem Stoltz, KleinJanTromp, Bertus Smit, Delarey du Preez, Lawrence Sephaka.

Reserves: Willie Wepener, Daniel Muller, Alten Hulme, Gerhard Vosloo, Enrico Januarie, Doppies la Grange, Grant Esterhuizen.
