Was Tindall driving drunk ?

Gloucester Rugby are remaining silent over reports that surfaced on Tuesday that Mike Tindall was arrested for drink-driving on Saturday morning.


The Sun newspaper claims Tindall failed a breath test after initially being pulled over for speeding by police on the M4 near Newbury in Berkshire.


However, while Thames Valley Police have confirmed that a 29-year-old Gloucestershire man was arrested for drink-driving on Saturday but they did not give an identity .


In a brief statement Gloucester Rugby refused to give anything away concerning the incident that could involve 29-year-old World Cup winner, who is currently out of action with a bruised liver he hurt during England’s 26-19 Six Nations defeat to Wales in England’s Six Nations opener.


The club said: “Gloucester Rugby is aware of a police incident involving Mike Tindall on Saturday. Until the full facts have been established neither the player or the club will be making any further comment at this time.
