Argentina pick up three injuries ahead of England clash

Just like most teams at the moment, Argentina have also been hit by injury as they have lost three players ahead of their tour of Europe, which starts against England on Saturday.


Perpignan’s Rimas Alvarez has a crushed thyroid cartilage in his throat while Stade Francais’ Rodrigo Roncero and Luca Borges have both suffered rib injures.


Agen’s Lucas Ostiglia is already out so the loss of of Alvarez and Roncero leaves the Pumas three forwards down.


Argentina’s Coach Marcelo Loffreda has called up Leeds Tykes’ Martin Schusterman, SIC’s Federico Serra, Alumni’s Jaime Arocena and CASI’s Pablo Gambarini for the game against England at Twickenham.


Argentina are also scheduled to play Italy on 18 November and France on 25 November.
