Recently retired from NZ Rugby and ex All Blacks’ flanker Jerry Collins is the latest addition to the Barbarians’ summer tour party.

He joins the squad this week ahead of Tuesday’s match against Ireland at Kingsholm, Gloucester, (kick-off 7.45 pm) before the tour concludes with the Gartmore Challenge against England at Twickenham on 1 June.

Collins is named in a 24-man squad for the Kingsholm fixture.

Collins made headlines on Monday when he announced his decision to quit rugby in New Zealand.

All Blacks coach Graham Hnery then revealed that he would not have been selected for the All Blacks on recent form.

The three-match tour kicked-off with the Barbarians’ 84-10 victory over a Belgium XV in Brussels last Saturday.
