England equaled their worst ever run of results hen they hit seven losses in a row with the most recent result coming against Argentina.

Argentina played well and deserved their win but it was more a case of England’s errors that gave Argentina the game. England appeared to be expectant of a win and were a shadow of the team that lost by a record to the All Blacks last week.

Paul Sackey in his second international scored a good try and took England to 10-9 at the break.

Federico Todeschini kept the scoreboard ticking for Argentina with penalties and also scored an interception try after Toby Flood came on for Charlie Hodgson who was more than likely taken off so that he could play against South Africa over the coming weeks.

When Hodgson went off the crowd cheered as he had a questionable day with the boot again. In the 61st minute England’s fullback Balshaw scored the try of the day and gave England hope but it still wasn’t enough for woeful England.

Before the match had ended England coach Andy Robinson was seen heading town the tunnel in shame. Director of Rugby Rob Andrew was also visibly down as England hit rock bottom when the loyal Twickenham crowd booed their team off the field.
