All Black charged and released on bail

All Black flanker Adam Thomson did not offer a plea to two charges of assaulting a female when he appeared in court on Tuesday.

Thomson appeared in Hastings District Court after the alleged assault in Havelock North early on Sunday morning according to NZPA.

Thomson did not speak during the brief appearance and was remanded on bail to reappear on January 23 which is three weeks before the Highlanders open their Super 14 campaign against the Brumbies.

Thomson’s bail conditions state that he must reside at an in address Dunedin.
