2022 Super Rugby Pacific Rd.13 Teams

on

Super Rugby Pacific is back in action this weekend with five matches taking place across the Pacific Ocean.

Super Rugby matches will be played in three different countries as New Zealand, Australia, and Fiji all host games.

Round 13 begins in Dunedin, New Zealand, where the Highlanders host the Western Force in the first of two matches on Friday.

Friday’s second match is arguably the highlight of the weekend. This Trans-Tasman clash features the Crusaders and the high-flying Brumbies, who are the top Australian team.

The Brumbies have – surprisingly – beaten three Kiwi sides in a row, both home and away, to cement their place in the top places on the table.

The Crusaders are second from the top in terms of New Zealand teams, but the 10-time Super Rugby champions have, however, lost three games already this campaign.

On Saturday, there are three matches, starting with Fijian Drua hosting Moana Pasifika in Sydney.

This much-anticipated Pacific Island derby should bring the crowds into CommBank Stadium despite the game being a bottom-of-the-basement clash.

Saturday’s second Round 13 match is going to be a humdinger in Auckland.

This juicy antipodean contest is between last season’s Super Rugby Trans-Tasman winning Blues and the 2021 Super Rugby AU champion Queensland Reds.

The Blues top the Super Rugby Pacific standings, while the out-of-sorts Reds sit in sixth.

The last match on Saturday is the NSW Waratahs against the Hurricanes at Leichhardt Oval in Sydney.

The final match of the weekend is on Sunday afternoon in Victoria, where the Melbourne Rebels host the Chiefs from Hamilton.
