Rugby league convert Willie Mason is set to make his union debut playing for the Barbarians against England at Twickenham on Sunday.

The 31-year-old forward, who has played rugby league for Australia, made six appearances for Hull KR in England before his failure to obtain a Tongan passport led to him being de-registered.

He has since agreed to join big-spending French club Toulon for 2011-12.
