Samoa select for opening Pacific Nations clash

Samoa have announced a strong squad for the forthcoming IRB Pacific Nations Cup encounter against Fiji on Saturday.

The squad contains a mixture of overseas-based players such as Brian Lima, Semo Sititi and Lome Faatau, as well as ten players based in Samoa who have been rewarded for their performances in the IRB Pacific Rugby Cup earlier in May.

Samoa host Fiji in their capital Apia this weekend in their opening match in this year’s IRB Pacific Nations Cup, which also features Tonga, Japan, Australia A and defending champions, the Junior All Blacks.
