Rugby World Cup champions New Zealand will play a Test match in Samoa in July 2015 following pressure from fans around the world.

The NZ Herald is reporting that an agreement has been reached for New Zealand’s All Blacks to play a Test match for the first time.

It is understood that the match will be played as part of both team’s preparations for the Rugby World Cup later in the year and will most likely take place after the end of the Super Rugby season.

There are no June International tours in a Rugby World Cup year so there will be no break in the Super Rugby tournament and the test looks set to take place inbetween the Super Rugby final and the first week of the Rugby Championship.

Pressure mounted on the New Zealand Rugby Union to play a Test match in Samoa after they announced that they would play a Test in the USA later this year.

The result is that fans around the world will be able to see the All Blacks do their haka and Samoa will perform the Siva Tau in Apia.

Apia’s venue is a 15000 seater but more temporary seats could be added for the historic test match.
