Veteran scrum-half George Gregan and number eight Wycliff Palu are serious injury doubts ahead of their meeting with South Africa in Sydney next week.
Gregan hobbled off after fifty five minutes, although his injury is not thought to be too serious, while Palu has suspected shoulder nerve damage.
If the damage to Palu is as serious as it first seems then he could be out of action for anything up to six weeks, although he would be available in time for the World Cup.
“George may not be right for next week,” coach John Connolly said to Fox Sports.
“As for Wycliff, it looks like a nerve problem, we’re not quite sure. But that could be anything from one to six weeks.”
