.00: PEEEEP! Anthems sung, Haka done. We are underway in the third Bledisloe Cup of 2021 at a sunny Optus Stadium, Perth.

.00: Australia wins New Zealand’s first lineout, but the visitors win the scrum after claiming the loose ball. A scrum penalty follows for the Kiwis, who clear to halfway.

.00: NO TRY! Samu Kerevi is offside at the ruck. Australia went coast-to-coast following a midfield break from Samu Kerevi, who burst to weak tackling before sending Marika Koroibete away. However, the winger is tracked back by Will Jordan, who brings him down before Jordie Barrett’s intervention stopped the flyer. 0-0

.00: New Zealand wins back-to-back penalties, Beauden Barrett kicks to the corner.

.00: Superb defence by the Wallabies to stop the driving maul. Darcy Swain holds up Codie Taylor to earn his team a reprieve.

.00: A solid scrum by the Aussies gets them a penalty at the scrum.

.00: PENALTY! Beauden Barrett opens the scoring. 0-3

.00: Australia goes through the phases (11) but nothing comes from the attack except a scrum for a Kiwi knock-on.

.00: Beauden Barrett almost intercepts Tate McDermott’s loose pass, the ball bounces kindly for the visitors though, and they counter-attack from deep. The following penalty is taken quickly by Barrett, who wins a penalty under the posts.

.00: PENALTY! Beauden Barrett doubles his side’s lead. 0-6

.00: TRY! Jordie Barrett finishes a sublime attack to score under the posts. Beauden Barrett’s grubber behind the Australian defensive line was gathered by Will Jordan. Jordan played an inside pass to Brad Weber before the scrumhalf sent the fullback away for the game’s first try. 0-11

.00: CONVERSION! The kick is good. 0-13

.00: New Zealand is bossing the breakdown, Australia cannot get their hands on the ball, and it is showing on the scoreboard as the visitors take control.

.00: Dave Rennie’s men cannot get out of their half, their kicking game has been iffy at best not to mention their poor kick-chase is keeping them pinned inside their half.

.00: All Blacks offside; Michael Hooper opts for the points.

.00: MISS! Noah Lolesio cannot put the Wallabies on the board from in front. That is terrible! 0-13

.00: RED CARD! Marika Koroibete takes Jordie Barrett’s boot to the face after the winger ran into the fullback’s boot. That is never a red card, but we know where we are at with rugby officials at the moment. Shocking call! 0-13

.00: Two knock-ons at the lineout, but it will be an Aussie feed to the scrum. Hooper is back on after a blood-bin stint.

.00: New Zealand leaking penalties at an alarming rate since Barrett’s red card. Tom Banks boots his team to the visitors’ half looking to get some points on the board before the interval.

.00: It’s end-to-end. Andrew Kellaway knocks on Lolesio’s crossfield kick, but Rennie’s men win another penalty; they must kick to the corner.

.00: NO TRY! Marika Koroibete takes the ball from the back of the maul and crawls his way to the line which sees the try chalked off. The winger, who did not score in Super Rugby all season, cannot get a break today, two scores (rightly) chalked off. 0-13

.00: TRY! David Havili flops over the whitewash after a powerful driving maul that went 15 metres. New Zealand cleared the danger before the break with another turnover penalty at the breakdown and raced to the lineout sensing they could score before the hooter. 0-18

.00: MISS! The kick is wide. 0-18

The halftime score was Wallabies 0 All Blacks 18

.00: The All Blacks have come out firing, they have the Aussies under early pressure.

.00: It’s all Kiwis at the minute.
