.00: PEEEEP! We are underway at a soaking ANZ Stadium in Sydney. Both anthems were stirring – as you’d expect – and the All Blacks performed Kapo o Pango. Australia is wearing a special dark green edition indigenous jersey for this third Bledisloe Cup clash.

.00: Australia wins the first lineout before going eight phases in possession. Noah Lolesio put in a big kick on Caleb Clarke before the counter-attack led to another Aussie lineout. The second bomb on Clerke works, the winger knocking-on Nic White’s box-kick.

.00: YELLOW CARD! Filipo Daugunu tackles Clarke in the air, it’s dangerous so the winger will take a seat on the naughty step. 0-0

.00: Richie Mo’unga boots the penalty into the Aussie’s 22. Michael Hooper gets his timing wrong, going offside at the breakdown. Mo’unga goes to the corner again.

.00: TRY! After a powerful driving maul, Karl Tu’inukuafe scores his maiden Test try in his 15th Test match. The big man will be relieved because he had a four-man overlap and did not pass. 0-5

.00: CONVERSION! Mo’unga adds the extras. 0-7

.00: Anton Lienert-Brown latches onto Mo’unga’s kick, plays Jordie Barrett on his inside. Barrett carries forward but elbows Nic White, who attempts to tackle the winger. That has to be yellow.

.00: YELLOW CARD! Jordie Barrett is carded. 0-7

.00: NO TRY! The All blacks go 11 phases before Mo’unga puts in a banana crossfield kick to Dane Coles, who beats Nic White to the ball. Kiwi referee awards the try but Aussie TMO Angus Gardner wants to double-check. After several checks, the score is chalked off – good call by Gardner. 0-7

.00: NO TRY! Touch in goal! Marika Koroibete’s last-ditch tackle on Clarke, with help from Hooper, denies the winger the try. The TMO confirms. 0-7

.00: Tu’inukuafe knocks-on. The All Blacks have had 81% territory and 78% possession in the opening quarter of an hour.

.00: That is poor from Australia. They kicked away possession twice with an extra man before Irae Simone knocks-on his rebounded grubber.

.00: Coles, on the wing again, kicks away possession, the Wallabies decide to go wide to Daugunu. The winger kicks, setting off a set of up-and-unders from both teams. The Kiwis win a penalty after Beauden Barrett’s bomb leads to a penalty after Ned Hanigan is offside. Mo’unga kicks to the Aussie 22.

.00: TRY! Aaron Smith and Mo’unga combine with a switch-play to the blindside from the scrum. The 26-year-old standoff drifts towards hooker Brandon Paenga-Amosa, ghosts through him, and races away from flyhalf Noah Lolesio to score in the corner. 0-12

.00: MISS! Mo’unga cannot convert his try. 0-12

.00: Another Aussie attack comes to naught when Filipo Daugunu throws the ball into touch. The Kiwis win their lineout and kick a bomb. The hosts win back possession and go wide to Filipo Daugunu, who again throws a 50/50 pass that leads to a turnover. That is poor from the winger; he’s having a shocker.

.00: TRY! Mo’unga has another five-pointer! The flyhalf latches onto Beauden Barrett’s chip-kick, beats Marika Koroibete’s tackle, and cruises 60 metres in for the try. Game over! 0-17

.00: CONVERSION! The first-five converts his second try. 0-19

.00: TRY! The All Blacks won a penalty, kicked to the corner before going to their driving maul to power over the whitewash. Dane Coles gets his try, this time. 0-24

.00: CONVERSION! Mo’unga adds another two. 0-26

.00: The Aussies look dejected, somehow, they win a fortunate penalty to relieve the pressure.

.00: A series of resets scrums slows down the play. Australia’s handling has been poor, and they keep kicking away possession. They will need to do better if they are going to break down the Kiwis.

.00: SO CLOSE! Mo’unga almost had a hat-trick. Daugunu’s soccer skills almost gift the standoff an easy score, fortunately for the winger, Mo’unga is ankle-tapped before the try line before the AB’s knock-on.

.00: Nic white boots the ball into touch. He’s had enough.

The halftime score was Australia 0 New Zealand 26

.00: PEEEEP! We are back underway on Australia’s east coast.

.00: TRY! It’s a debut try for Noah Lolesio, scoring from close range after White put the standoff away. It came from a barnstorming run from Jordan Petaia, who ran over Mo’unga, sucked in two tacklers before setting up the try. 5-26

.00: MISS! Lolesio cannot convert. 5-26

.00: All Blacks lose their attacking lineout, close to the Aussies’ line. It’s danger signs for the hosts.

.00: White kicks out on the full, gifting the visitors a lineout on the Wallabies’ 10m.

.00: the game has slowed down, conditions are a problem for both teams, who are struggling to handle the pill.

.00: Daugunu finally does something right, the winger winning a ruck-penalty which allows the hosts to set-up an attacking lineout drive.

.00: OH, dear! Australia knocks-on.

.00: Whitelock wins a penalty, the Kiwis will take a shot.

.00: PENALTY! Mo’unga knocks over the kick. 5-29

.00: Australia botch another good attacking opportunity before coughing up possession, soon afterward.

.00: The game is stop-start as both benches get emptied.

.00: Lots of mistakes from the Australians, who are blooding young players. They will learn from this experience, bu they must not get blown away at the end.

.00: New Zealand decides for an attacking scrum following a penalty.

.00: TRY! Rieko Ioane scores in the corner. Hoskins Sotutu broke off the back of the scrum to the short-side, drew the defenders, and sent Ioane away for his 23rd Test score. 5-34

.00: CONVERSION! Mo’unga slots the touchline kick. 5-36

.00: TRY! Jordie Barrett scores in the third Bledisloe Cup match on the trot. Mo’unga’s deft pass to the winger, on the angle, saw Barrett burst through two forwards, and race 50 metres to score under the posts. 5-41

.00: CONVERSION! The kick is good. 5-43

.00: YELLOW CARD! Jordan Petaia took a shot to the mouth by Shannon Frizell, and the flanker is sent to the bin. 5-43

.00: Australia think they have scored, but Koroibete is tackled into touch.
