Fullback Carl Bezuidenhout has recovered from injury and is back in the Eastern Province side for Saturday’s First Division rugby match against the high-flying Griffons.

Bezuidenhout comes in for Ryan Brown, who moves to the bench.

This is the only change coach Corne Korff has made to the starling line-up. Two acquisitions – both flankers – will start on the bench.

They are Yves Bashia from the Valke and Warren Whitely from the Sharks Academy.

EP supporters can look forward to an exciting clash between former Blue Bull Rocco Jansen and former EP flyer Fabian Juries. Juries still has a lot of support in his home town, but Jansen will be out to show that he is a good signing for the future.

The EP team is:

Carl Bezuidenhout, Rocco Jansen, Siviwe Magaba, De Wet Barry (capt), Howard Noble, Wesley Dunlop, Marlon Lewis, Lubabalo Mzwakali, Jacques Potgieter, Enoch Panya, Rauhan van Jaarsveld, Andries Smit, Raoul Larson, Herkie Liebenberg, Pumlani Nodikida.

Replacements: Robbie Dyer, Sangoni Mxoli, Yves Bashiya, Warren Whiteley, Chad Erskine, Ryan Brown, Alipate Fatafehi.
