Out of the last five Super Rugby matches between the Western Force and the Auckland Blues the Blues have won three, drawn one and lost one.

We are waiting for the kick off.

The Blues kick off and we are underway.

1.00: The Blues apply plenty of pressure early on and it wins them a penalty for not rolling away. They will kick for posts.

2.00:  Ihaia West takes the penalty kick but misses.

4.00: Both teams showing that they want to run the ball. The Force enjoy some attacking time with the ball but then the Blues turn it over. They chip the ball ahead and Ihaia West chases it and it bounces perfectly for him and he runs in the opening TRY!

6.00: West takes the conversion from almost the touchline and he nails it.

9.00: The Blues have clearly come to play as they are keeping the Force under real pressure with an up tempo game. Charlie Faumuina bashes his way over the line to score the second Blues TRY!

10.00: West slots the conversion.

13.00: The Blues are running riot. The Force can’t match the pace and this time they spread the ball wide and Lolagi Visinia slips in for the third TRY in the corner.

14.00: West takes the conversion kick and this one he misses.

17.00: The Blues spread the ball down the line and again they find holes and this time it’s Ma’a Nonu that scores. Bonus Point TRY!

18.00: West slots the conversion.

21.00: It gets worse for the Force as Sias Ebersohn has been replaced due to injury by Zack Holmes.

24.00: The Force are gaining a little more control and territory. They set up a line out through a penalty in the Blues 22. They win the line out and use the maul.

27.00 : The Blues defend the maul but then Ma’a Nonu concedes a penalty for not rolling away. The Force kick for touch.

28.00: The Force are camped in the Blues 22. They have a scrum. It collapses the first time and then has to be reset.

30.00: The Blues get a warning for conceding too many penalties in the red zone. The Force get a penalty for offside. They choose a 5m scrum.

33.00: The Force drive for the line but they are held up. The Force have had 95% possession in the last five minutes.

35.00: The Force continue to keep the Blues under pressure on their 5m line. They just can’t get over the line.

36.00: The Blues get the put in for a scrum and they clear the ball to relieve some pressure.

40.00: The siren sounds as we have a scrum collapse and a penalty for the Force. They run the ball and initially hit a wall of defence.

41.00: The Force get driven backwards a little but they win another penalty. They run it again.

42.00: The Blues defend the Force’s attack and then they drive them back. The ball goes dead.

It’s half time.

The half time score was Force 0 Blues 26 

The Force kick off and we are underway with the second half.

44.00: The Force are holding on to the ball more and rumbling it forward. They win a penalty just inside the Blues half. They kick for touch and fail to find it so Visinia hammers it back.

45.00: Referee Rohan Hoffmann gives the Blues and captain Luke Braid another team warning. The Force take the tap.

46.00: The Force work the ball to the Blues 5m line through six phases. They can’t get through so we go back for a penalty and  Tom Donnelly is yellow carded. The Force kick for touch.

47.00: The Force win the line out and set up a ruck. The Blues turn the ball over and kick it into touch.

49.00: The Force get some good attacking ball in the Blues 22 but then they knock on. It’s just not working for them today.

52.00: The Blues win a line out and kick upfield. The Force try to run the ball back.

55.00: The Blues show plenty of patience  with the ball and then they get a sniff of the line and Luke Braid gets driven over the line and scores. TRY!

56.00: West slots the conversion.

58.00: The Blues are upping their game again. They are throwing the ball around with ease and looking dangerous. The Force however turn the ball over and run the ball out of their 22 and they win a penalty. They kick for touch.

62.00: The Force aren’t giving up. They get the ball into the Blues 22 although the ball slows and goes dead. They get the put in at the scrum.

64.00: The Force win the scrum but knock on. We go back for a penalty and Hodgson takes the quick tap and Nathan Charles scores. TRY!

65.00: Jayden Hayward slots the conversion.

71.00: Oh wow. The Blues chip the ball ahead and the ball bounces up of Zack Holmes boot and into  Pita Ahki hands and he goes in to score the sixth Blues try.

72.00: West adds the conversion.

78.00: The Force look to have a final chance as they have a scrum in the Blues 22. They win the scrum and move the ball down the line.

79.00: The Force go from side to side on attack and they win a penalty for a high tackle. They run the ball again.

80.00: The Force continue to attack and they finally crack the defence as Brynard Stander goes over to score his first try this year.

Hayward takes the conversion kick and nails it.
