3.00: The Blues get a line our but they are instantly blown up for nor straight.

 

10.00: The Stormers get a kickable penalty so Peter Grant steps up and takes the shot. He slots it.

 

15.00: Gcobani Bobo has a little run down the sideline but the Blues defence stops him.

 

20.00: The Blues find a gap and  Josh Blackie gets through but Schalk Burger manages to stop him saving the try.

 

21.00: The Blues get a scrum 10m out and the swing the ball to the right where they get the overlap and Paul Williams is there and he runs in virtually untouched.

 

22.00: Paul Williams misses the chance to convert his own try.

 

26.00: Jean De Villiers makes a break and gets through but passes to the wing but the Blues intercept and prevent the try.

 

32.00: Ricky Januarie snipes at the back of the scrum and kicks the ball football style towards the line and gets the luck of the bounce and scores the Stormers first try.

 

33.00: Peter Grant misses the conversion.

 

36.00: The Blues get a kickable penalty so Paul Williams takes the strike and slots it to level the scores.

 

The siren goes for half time.

The second half is underway.

 

49.00: Lots of pressure from both sides as each team tries to breach the defences but both sides are kept out.

 

52.00: Paul Williams snatches the lead from the Stormers with a penalty kick.

 

54.00: The Blues mid-field have a sniping run but the Stormers get back in time.

 

60.00: Joe Rokocoko tries to break on the wing but Percy Montgomery pushes him out and into touch.

 

63.00: Isaia Toeava gets an intercept and races away for the try – Jean De Villiers however just gets there and stops the try.

 

69.00: The scrums go uncontested under referee Kaplan’s orders.  

 

75.00: The Blues put together 10 phases as they work the ball up to the Stormers line. The Blues get quick ball but the ball gets dropped and the Stormers kick it away.

 

77.00: Penalty to the Blues so they kick for posts. Paul Williams takes the strike and slots it and uses up valuable time.

 

79.00: The Stormers go for one last hurrah with a big push for the line. Peter Grant comes within a metre but is kept out.

 

The Blues kick the ball out as the siren sounds and the Blues win.
