Blues coach David Nucifora has included his frontline All Blacks for his side’s crucial clash with the Stormers on Saturday in Cape Town.

Joe Rokocoko, Ali Williams and Keven Mealamu will all start, amongst other changes Nucifora has made.

Nucifora says the many changes to the line-up for Saturday’s game against the Stormers are largely to accommodate the travel factor and recovery after last week’s tough match.

“We’ve had a big week. Last week’s hard game followed by the substantial travel to get here, means I need to put some fresh bodies on the field,” he says.

Nucifora says he is confident his side can win against the Stormers at Newlands, Cape Town.

“Right from the start, the Blues season has been about squad performance. I have full confidence in all our players to deliver what’s expected of them.”

Nucifora explains the shuffle to the starting line-up offers an injection of some fresh players who have been training hard but have not sustained the full force of repeated competition games.

“We are conscious of the toll travel takes on the players and it is just another factor that needs to be considered in player management.”
