5.00: TRY! Tom Cusack breaks the line and runs into Bulls’ territory. Banks holds off two defenders, standing strong in the tackle before sending Tevtia Kuridrani away for his 26th Super Rugby try. 5-3

7.00: MISS! Christian Lealiifano misses from wide. 5-3

9.00: The Brumbies are back inside the visitor’s half, but the ball is turned over.

11.00: Banks clears with a right-foot banana kick that only goes out about 10 metres from his goal-line. It came from a 12-phase Bulls attack from inside their half after they won the turnover. Cornal Hendricks put boot to ball, but Banks cleaned up.

13.00: Allan Alaalatoa collapses the maul and gets a warning from referee Jaco Peyper. The bulls opt for the corner.

14.00: Duane Vermeulen knocks on with the line at his mercy. Peyper gives another “FINAL” warning. The South African ref bottled that call. Another lineout.

15.00: YELLOW CARD! Cusack shakes his head as he leaves the field for collapsing the rolling maul. 5-3

16.00: Rory Arnold wins the throw against the head, but Banks’ kick is short. The Bulls come back and win a scrum, five metres out.

17.00: Another reset scrum. The crowd boos again.

18.00: Another reset. THIS IS RUBBISH!

19.00: TRY! A great forwards try from the Bulls. The scrum wheeled to the right, Pete Samu slid to the left, taking away man-power and the scrum disintegrated. Hanro Liebenberg dots down. He might have lost the ball forward, but the TMO was not called. 5-8

20.00: CONVERSION! Libbok slots the kick. 5-10

23.00: It’s an arm-wrestle out there. The breakdown is being fought with ferocity.

25.00: The Bulls win the turnover, but Jason Jenkins is caught for not rolling away at the previous ruck. Banks kicks to the corner. “HELLO!” Folau Fainga’a says.

26.00: UNLUCKY! Hendricks tackles Fainga’a into touch after a front of the lineout “Pork and Cheese” move made famous by the DHS Old Boys U21s in 2001.

28.00: Wrong option by Lealiifano. He kicks a grubber, but the Brumbies were inside the Bulls’ 22. Rosco Specman came off his wing and kicked the ball out.

29.00: another attack ends with offsides by the Saffas. Banks kicks to the corner. Fainga will look to his driving maul.

30.00: Superb from the Bulls’ forwards. They sacked the maul legally, the Brumbies went through some phases in the insides channel but lost possession. The visitors clear to their 10m.

33.00: Well done to the Bulls; they keep the Brumbies out. Arnold loses the ball, gives away a penalty and the Bulls clear.

34.00: Schalk Brits rolls back the years, running through two defenders, fending off another and driving into the opposition’s half.

36.00: Brits, however, gives away a free-kick for mouthing off to his opposite number. Peyper marches him back 10 metres. Scrum to the hosts.

38.00: TRY! Kuridrani at the double! Banks kicks to the corner for the fourth time. Joe Powell takes the ball from Fainga’a – the fake driving maul – sends a pass to Kuridrani who is over! 10-all.

39.00: CONVERSION! Lealiifano extras to give his team the lead. 12-10

41.00: The Bulls mount a final attack before the break but to no avail.

41.00: PEEEEP! We are back underway at GIO Stadium, Canberra where the home team lead the Bulls by two.

42.00: The Bulls get a penalty, near the sideline, for a high tackle. Libbok kicks into the Brumbies’ 22.

44.00: The home team hold the Bulls. Brown wins the turnover after Liebenberg ran over Powell. The hosts win the scrum.

45.00: TRY! Irae Simone is over for his first Super rugby try in his 21st match. Henry Speight came off his right wing to join the line and set-up the training ground move. Lealiifano put Speight through the hole with some deft hands before the winger played Simone. 17-10

47.00: MISS! Lealiifano pulls his kick wide. 17-10

49.00: Warrick Gelant wins an important turnover, saving his side.

51.00: Specman takes down Powell behind the Brumbies’ goal-line, winning an attacking scrum, five out.

52.00: Reset.

54.00: The Brumbies win the scrum-penalty! Superb scrum.

58.00: HAT-TRICK! Simone floats a wonderful pass to Kuridrani, on the wing, for his first-ever treble in Super Rugby. Simone has two assists and a score, too. 22-10

59.00: MISS! Another miss from the skipper, but the lead is 12. 22-10

62.00: The game is not out of reach for Pote Human’s men, but they need some possession, and a score, soon.

64.00: Brumbies win the penalty at the ruck. Banks boots his side into good field position.

67.00: It’s all Brumbies at the minute.

69.00: Another penalty at the breakdown for the hosts. They could seal the win here if they take a shot.

72.00: MISS! Lealiifano is having a nightmare from the tee, this game should be over. 22-10

75.00: Time is running out for the tourists.

77.00: Speight does not get a favourable bounce, knocking on near the goal line after beating a flat-footed Specman to the ball.

78.00: Toni Pulu came from the side of the ruck and kicked the ball out. Libbok kicks the penalty near the 22. The Brumbies have won seven of their last eight in Canberra.

80.00: Important turnover after Jaco Visagie takes to contact. however, the Brumbies win the turnover, securing the bonus-point win. Banks clears, but not far.

81.00: The Brumbies win the lineout, and kick the ball into touch. Game over!
