.00: PEEEEP! We are underway in Canberra. Samu Kerevi led the Reds out on his 50th Super Rugby appearance.

.00: The conditions are great for rugby, mild and dry for this Australian derby. Rory Arnold is also playing in his 50th Super Rugby match.

.00: The Reds are awarded a penalty, going against Chance Peni. Jono Lance kicked to touch, but Brandon Paenga-Amosa’s throw is skew, gifting possession to the Brumbies.

.00: Peni’s blindside break is negated by a penalty. Lance kicks to the corner.

.00: TRY! Taniela Tupou powers over. Chris Feauai-Sautia broke two tackles thanks to his powerful leg-drive before offloading to the Tupou for the try. 0-5

.00: CONVERSION! Lance adds the extras. 0-7

.00: Wharenui Hawera kicks out, directly into touch, gifting the Reds a scrum.

.00: It’s all Queensland in the opening exchanges. They have been camped inside the home team’s half.

.00: Matt Lucas is down after being hit in the head by a stray leg. His opposite number and brother Ben looks on concerned.

.00: James Tuttle is coming on for Ben Lucas, who is now sitting up.

.00: The Reds win another penalty and kick to the corner.

.00: Big defence from David Pocock, who holds up Caleb Timu, winning the scrum for his side.

.00: NO TRY! An athletic dive by Fainga’a almost see the hooker in for his second try. The TMO rules the five-pointer, out. That was something out of a running back’s playbook in the NFL. He is ruled “simultaneously out” by George Ayoub.

The half-time score was Brumbies 12 Reds 18

.00: PEEEEP! We are back underway in Canberra.

.00: There was a big momentum shift in the last 15 minutes of the first-half in favour of the Brumbies.

.00: The Reds come back, attacking the wide channels, but the ball is lost forward. Scrum to the hosts.

.00: There is a long delay as the TMO checks to see if Naisarani knocked on in the build-up to Peni’s try.

.00: TRY! Peni stretches out after he cut inside the Reds defenders and scores. 17-18

.00: MISS! Another missed conversion by Hawera. 17-18

.00: TRY! Rory Arnold you beauty! The lock joins in the back-line and bursts through some weak tackling, runs over another player and is in for his fourth Super Rugby try. 22-18

.00: CONVERSION! Christian Lealiifano adds the extras. 24-18

.00: The Reds have been under the pump since Fainga’a’s try. They have an attacking scrum on the Brumbies’ 5m.

.00: The Reds scrum again after winning a penalty, however, they are penalised at the next for collapsing. Ouch!

.00: Kane Douglas is lucky not to get a yellow for a reckless high tackle.
