Australia’s Wallabies return to Super Rugby following a month long break with a match in the Australian Capital Canberra between the Brumbies and the Reds.

We are waiting for the kick off. Reds replacement Saia Fainga’a has withdrawn from the match due to concerns with his recovery from a foot injury. Has been replaced by Matt Mafi.

The Reds kick off and the match is underway.

The Brumbies win an early penalty. They kick for touch.

2.00: The Reds win a penalty back and take the line out. The Brumbies win the line out.

3.00: The Reds turn the ball over from the Brumbies attack and kick upfield. The Reds win the ball back but the Brumbies take it into touch. Both teams struggling to hold on to the ball.

4.00: Ben Hyne has taken a knock and gets some strapping from the medics which pauses the game. He gets back up and carried on.

5.00: After a line out, Hyne has to be helped off the field. Michael Wells comes on. The Reds win a scrum in centrefield. Samu Kerevi races down the wing but is caught. The Reds have an advantage so they have a penalty. However Jake McIntyre has taken a knock on his ankle so the medics will help him first.

6.00: Henry Taefu takes the penalty kick and nails it. The Reds lead.

11.00: Penalty to the Reds just outside the Brumbies 22. Frisby kicks to the corner for the lineout.

12.00: The Reds win the line out and work the ball to the Brumbies 5m line.  They go wide but the ball is lost. The Reds get the scrum put in.

14.00: The Reds win a penalty from the scrum for standing up. Stephen Moore is not happy at all. The Reds take the line out option.

15.00: The Reds win the line out and then a penalty for collapsing the maul. Frisby kicks for touch again.

16.00: The Reds win the line out and Andrew Ready is driven over and scores. TRY!

17.00: Taefu adds the conversion.

20.00: The Brumbies get a scrum about 30m out after the Reds knock on. The Brumbies win the scrum and work the ball closer to the Reds 22 line. The Reds however turn the ball over and run it.

22.00: Nick Frisby tries to clear the ball but its charged down. The Reds regain the ball and Kerevi kicks for touch.

24.00: The Brumbies get their best attacking opportunity as they run the ball into the Reds 22. They get pressed back and then kick and chase but the Reds get back and secure the ball behind the tryline.

25.00: Penalty to the Brumbies. Christian Lealiifano lines up the kick. He nails it. The Brumbies are on the board.

29.00: The Brumbies win the put in with a scrum just outside their 22. From the scrum the Brumbies win a free kick for “no stability”. The Brumbies kick for touch.

32.00: The Brumbies go through 6 phases on attack and get the ball into the Reds 22. 9 Phases and the Brumbies continue to run the ball from side to side.

34.00: 15 phases as the Brumbies gradually press the Reds back. After 19 phases the Brumbies chip the ball ahead and Frisby knocks it on. Brumbies scrum.

34.00: Taniela Tupou comes on for the Reds replacing Greg Holmes. He goes straight into the scrum. The Reds concede a penalty for angling in.

35.00: The Brumbies take the line out. They win the ball and maul it over the line. Stephen Moore scores the TRY!

36.00: Leallifano adds the conversion and the scores are level.

40.00: Free kick from the scrum to the Reds. They kick for touch but fail to find it.

41.00: The Brumbies keep the ball alive by running it. They work the ball into the Reds half.  Nigel Ah Wong makes huge ground for the Brumbies, he is tackled and the Brumbies go for the line. Ben Alexander goes over but looks to be short. The TMO will decide. It’s a TRY!

42.00: Leallifano takes the conversion kick but misses it.

The second half is underway.

42.00: The Reds almost get the perfect start. They turn the ball over from a Brumbies attack.  Samu Kerevi wrongfoots Nigel Ah Wong and he races away to score. Just as the conversion is about to be taken the TMO is called upon to review if there was a foot in touch. The TMO rules Eto Nabuli had a foot in touch. No try.

46.00: Ruan Smith comes on for Ben Alexander.

48.00: The Brumbies win a line out in the Reds 22. They set up the maul and drive over the line for a second Stephen Moore TRY!

49.00: Lealiifano adds the conversion. Moore has been replaced. Kane Douglas comes on for the Reds.

53.00: The Reds get a penalty for a push in the back to Kuridrani. They take it quickly and it goes to Duncan Paia’aua who runs in to score. TRY!

54.00: Taefu slots the conversion.

57.00: Leroy Houston comes on for the Reds. His first time in Super Rugby since 2011.

60.00: Tomas Cubelli breaks for the Brumbies and sets up Christian Lealiifano who races to the corner and scores. TRY!

61.00: Leallifano adds the conversion.

66.00: Nigel Ah Wong knocks on. There will be a scrum on the half way line. Reds ball.

68.00: Penalty to the Brumbies for hands in the ruck. Cubelli takes a quick tap.

69.00: The Brumbies get the put in after the ball goes dead in the ruck after a scrum.

70.00: The Brumbies win a scrum in the Reds 22, Cubelli sells a dummy and dives in and scores. TRY! Cubelli has really lifted the Brumbies.

71.00: Leallifano adds the conversion.

74.00: The Brumbies are running away with the match now as they move the ball from side to side and stretch the Reds which makes a wide gap for Lausii Taliauli who scores. TRY!

75.00: Leallifano adds the conversion from the touchline.

78.00: The Reds are fighting back. They go through 6 phases on attack and work the ball to the tryline. Taniela Tupou drives over and scores on his Super Rugby debut.

78.00: Taefu adds the conversion.

80.00; The siren sounds. The Reds have the ball in their 22. They try to run the ball but get shoved into touch. Thats it.
