The Waratahs win the first scrum of the match but as they clear the ball there is a slight knock on.

6.00: Both teams are testing each other defences with neither really making an impact or significant ground.

7.00: The Waratahs start to make some ground into Brumbies territory but then they concede a penalty at the breakdown. The Brumbies kick for touch.

8.00: The Brumbies win the line out and run at the Waratahs. After 8 phases they get into the Waratahs 22 with a chip kick but they also lose the ball so the Waratahs clear the ball into touch.

12.00: The Waratahs go through the phases and gradually make ground they pass the ball through the hands and Rob Simmons suddenly finds he is in space and is tackled just before the line but reaches out and puts the ball down on the tryline. TRY!

13.00: Will Harrison adds the conversion.

18.00: The Brumbies win a line out and set up the maul. They drive to the line and it slows but the backs join in and they go over. The ball comes out and Solomone Kata goes for the line and rolls in the tackle and scores. TRY!

19.00: Noah Lolesio adds the conversion. The scores are level at 7 all.

21.00: The Waratahs attack in the Brumbies 22 and Mark Nawaqanitawase reaches over the line in the corner next to the flag and puts the ball down, The TMO checks the grounding and its good. TRY!

22.00: Harrison adds the conversion and the Waratahs lead again. 7-14.

25.00: The Brumbies attack from the ruck and pass the ball out to Solomone Kata who uses his pace and scores in the corner. TRY! Possible forward pass missed in the build up but the try is awarded.

26.00: Lolesio adds the conversion so the scores are level again. 14-14

28.00: Brumbies captain Allan Alaalatoa is forced to leave the field due to injury so Tom Ross comes on as his replacement.

31.00: The Brumbies set up a line out in the Waratahs 22. They use the maul but the Waratahs are wise to it this time and themaul splinters. After the Brumbies recycle the Waratahs turn the ball over and kick it upfield and into touch.

34.00: The Brumbies keep the ball moving in the Waratahs 22, Andy Muirhead gets them close but is caught and Cadeyrn Neville drives to the line and scores. TRY!

35.00: Lolesio slots the conversion and the Brumbies lead. 21-14.

38.00: The Brumbies get the ball from a deep Waratahs kick and run at the Waratahs. They make some ground but they concede a penalty. The Waratahs tap it and take it quickly and in three phases they are on the Brumbies 22m line.

39.00: The Waratahs change sides but they kill the ball and concede a penalty. The Brumbies kick for touch as the siren sounds.

40.00: The Brumbies win the line out and take it into touch ending the half. It’s half time.

The Waratahs kick off and the second half is underway.

44.00: The Brumbies have the ball and inside the Waratahs half and Andy Muirhead pops the ball up for Joe Powell who picks a perfect line and races for the line to score. TRY!

46.00: Lolesio adds the conversion. It looks like Kurtley Beale may have injured himself in the process of that as he limps from the field. Early reports are that he has a low hamstring strain.

51.00: The Waratahs work the ball into the Brumbies 22 but the Brumbies turn the ball over and kick it back well upfield.

54.00: The Waratahs throw the ball in at the line out but they concede a penalty. The Brumbies kick for touch again. The penalty count is mounting against the Waratahs 9-1.

56.00: The Brumbies win another penalty after the line out and they choose a line out on the 5m line. There is a double whistle at the line out and Jack Dempsey is yellow carded. Penalty count is 11-1 against the Waratahs.

57.00: The Brumbies use the numbers and keep the ball moving down the line and it gets to Tom Wright who scores a relatively easy try in the corner. TRY!

78.00: The Brumbies kick deep but fail to find touch. The Waratahs run the ball but then knock on.

80.00: The siren sounds as the scrum collapses.

81.00: The Brumbies win the scrum and run it down the line at pace. Any Muirhead makes the breakthrough and passes to Tom Banks who sells a dummy and uses his pace and scores. TRY!

82.00: Banks adds the conversion of his try.
