In a joint statement by the Blue Bulls Company (Pty) Ltd and the backline coach of the Vodacom Bulls, Nico le Roux, an agreement has been reached to cancel the contract between them.

A Bulls statement says that the Bulls and Le Roux parted amicably after they agreed that the timing of his appointment and the expectancies of both parties could not be realized.

Thus both parties decided that his contract should be cancelled sooner rather than later.

Le Roux was appointed on the 7th of January this year so he worked with the Bulls for just over two weeks.

Le Roux worked with the All Blacks in 2001, the junior All Blacks in 2005 and was the Chiefs’ technical advisor in the Super 12 from 2001 ‘ 2005.

In 2007 he was the Blues’ performance analyst and he worked as Waikato’s technical advisor in the NPC between 2002 and 2004. While in New Zealand he worked with John Mitchell, Robbie Deans, Ian Foster, David Nucifora, Colin Cooper and Wayne Pivac.

The Blue Bulls Company (Pty) Ltd will start immediately to identify a replacement for Le Roux.
