Three time Super Rugby Champions the Bulls have set their sights on winning a Super Rugby title in 2018.

The Bulls are the only South African Super Rugby side to have won a title but they have not won since 2010.

Blue Bulls Company CEO Barend van Graan says that the Pretoria side are in a rebuilding phase and has asked for patience from the fans.

The Bulls won their first Super Rugby title in 2007 and then followed it up with a second title in 2009.

In 2010 the Bulls won their third title but went through the “Super 15” era without winning another title.

Over recent years most of the Bulls Super Rugby title winners have either retired or moved on to other teams.

The Bulls are still in the running for this year’s Super Rugby title but a Sharks victory over the Sunwolves in Durban will end their hopes of reaching the play offs.

Van Graan says that he is confident that current coach Nollis Marais the Bulls are headed in the right direction.

“He (Marais) is the right man to again turn the Bulls into a championship team,” Van Graan told Netwerk24.

“We knew we were in a transition period and that it would be a challenging season. In 2008, when Frans Ludeke took over we finished 10th and won the competition the following year. ”

“Change takes time, especially when you start adopting a new playing style with a young team.”

The Bulls are currently 100/1 to win the Super Rugby title.
