Bulls slaughter Cats to keep their play off hopes alive

The Cats were again humiliated on Saturday with the only difference being that this time it came courtesy of the Bulls. Rumours have been doing the rounds about Cats Coach Ludeke’s being on the line for quite a few weeks now and still he holds his position.

Perhaps the final nail in the coffin will come if/when the Cats lose to the Force. The Cats did put up a fight but they were clearly out matched by the Bulls.

Consolation tries came from a few of the Cats players and probably most notably from the player that was on the fringes of their squad before the start of the season and drafted in due to injury, Delarey du Preez.

The Bulls on the other hand kept their semi final hopes alive by scoring six tries and even though the Bulls were dominating the Cats the crowd became bored with the match and took to passing the time with Mexican waves.

The last few minutes were typical of the match where the Cats were on attack and Bulls picked up their sixth try as Pierre Spies intercepted the pass to score under the posts. Again the try was converted.

The final score was Bulls 46 Cats 17.
