Out of the last two Super Rugby matches between the Bulls and the Melbourne
Rebels the Pretoria based Bulls have won both.

The Bulls have only played the Rebels twice in Super Rugby and they missed
out on playing each other 2013 due to the draw.

The Bulls have played the Rebels once at home and once away from and both matches
have been won by the Bulls.

The average score when the Bulls play the Rebels is : Bulls 44 Rebels 23. When
the Bulls last hosted the Rebels in Pretoria they won with a 37 point margin.

The Bulls are already out of the play offs and they are in unusual territory
as the three-time champions have made the knock-out phase of the competition
every year since 2005, except for 2008, 2011 and this year.

Although they won’t be contesting the playoffs this year, the Bulls will
still be aiming to finish their season unbeaten at Loftus Versfeld – thus far
they’ve won six and drew one from seven in Pretoria.

If they manage to beat the Rebels this weekend, it will be the fourth time
the Pretorians have been unbeaten at home since the franchise system came into
being in South Africa in 1998 – they also did it in 2005, 2009 and 2010.

“We want to end the season well and although our final log position will
not be where we wanted, there is no reason why we cannot close out our campaign
with a fine performance,” said Bulls coach Frans Ludeke.

This encounter will also see Victor Matfield and Frans Ludeke, who both hail
from Polokwane in Limpopo province, set new Super Rugby records.

Matfield, the Bulls’ captain, will lead his side for the 82nd time, which
breaks the previous record of 81 matches as captain in this competition by former
Reds and Force skipper Nathan Sharpe.

Ludeke will oversee his 132nd Super Rugby match as coach, improving on Ewen
McKenzie’s record. He coached the Cats/Lions 23 times and the Bulls 108

The Rebels will be without their regular captain Scott Higginbotham due to
suspension and they will be captained by Scott Fuglistaller.

The Bulls have lost their last two matches and have responded by making seven
changes for this match.

In 2014 the Rebels have played 15 matches and won 4. Away from home they have
played 7 matches but won just one which gives the a record of winning 14% of
their away matches.

The Bulls on the other hand have also played 15 matches and they have won 6
and lost eight matches and drawn one. They have played 7 matches at home and
won 6 and drawn one.

The Bookies
have given the Rebels a 20 point start for this Match
– with an
offer of a FREE $250.00 Bet.
The Bulls will be looking to
keeping a clean sheet while the Rebels will be looking to secure their first
win outside of Australia. The Bulls have always been tough to beat
at home so they should win this by 15.

This Match will be shown on TV in NZ, Aus, SA and in
the UK on Sky Sports 3/HD on the Red Button.
