Super Rugby moves across the Indian Ocean in the sixth match of the second round as the Bulls host Melbourne based Super Rugby franchise the Rebels.

The Bulls started their Super Rugby season with a 33-9 loss to the Stormers in Cape Town but will be at their Loftus Versfeld home in this match so they can be expected to be a much improved side.

The Rebels won their opening match but lost a number of players in the process such as Mike Harris and Colby Fainga’a. This will be their second match away from home

As a result of these injuries Steve Cummins and Jack Debreczeni come into the Rebels starting XV. Cummins, who was introduced off the reserve bench midway through the second half last weekend, earns a call up to the run-on team while Debrezceni returns from a virus which sidelined him in the first round.

After being a late pre-game withdrawal against the Force, Debreczeni has proven his fitness and returns to the Rebels starting line-up while Reece Hodge, who scored 20 points in his Super Rugby debut last weekend, gets the nod at fullback.,

The Bulls have made one change for this week and Marais has retained the pack that played against the Stormers in Cape Town but has been forced into making one change to the backline.

An injury to Jesse Kriel will see Burger Odendaal start in the midfield at inside centre and Jan Serfontein at outside centre.

The Bulls have played the Rebels just four times since they joined Super Rugby in 2011. In those four matches the Bulls have won three matches and lost one. The Bulls only loss was a one point loss in Melbourne.

In Pretoria the Bulls have played the Rebels twice and both matches have been won at an average score of Bulls 44 Rebels 8.

The Bookies have given the Rebels a 7 point start for this Match – with an offer of a FREE $150 BET. While the Bulls are going through a rebuilding phase home advantage of Fortress Loftus should see them home this week. The Bulls should win by 6.

This Match will be shown on TV in NZ, Aus, SA and in the UK on Sky Sports 3.
