13.00: A powerful driving maul from the Bulls forwards, they go twice before winning another penalty because Marius Louw came in from the side. Steyn goes to the corner.
14.00: The Sharks defend stoutly, winning a penalty. Bosch clears, but only after a little scuffle between the forwards.
15.00: Big tackle by Marius Louw on Stedman Gans. Ouch!
17.00: The Sharks are looking to play inside the opposition’s half; Curwin Bosch, Manie Libbok, and Sanele Nohamba going to the boot at every opportunity.
18.00: Steyn also employing the up-and-under a lot. Libbok gets pinged at the ruck after the Bulls flood the tackled player. Steyn will take another shot.

22.00: Dylan Richardson gets low to the ground and wins the penalty at the ruck. Bosch calls for the tee.

26.00: The visitors have had the better of the scrums, but this time the Bulls hold firm; however, the attack is gone after a knock-on off Marcel van der Merwe’s head. Play continues as Nohamba’s box-kick is taken by the Bulls, who counter from deep.
28.00: TRY! Some fancy footwork by Cornal Hendricks, who beats three defenders sets up his centre partner Stedman Gans. Gans sits James Venter down before he dances past Sikhumbuzo Notshe to score the game’s first try. 8-6

30.00: The Sharks might have the better of the scrums and breakdown, but they lose another lineout which leads to a Steyn drop-kick. The flyhalf’s attempt is wide, though. 10-6
32.00: Ivan van Zyl breaks around the ruck, pops to Elrigh Louw, who storms to the Sharks 22. Louw is tackled but not before he gets his offload to the supporting Marco van Staden to score under the posts. 15-6

35.00: Another lost lineout by the Sharks, but they manage to win a penalty at the breakdown. Bosch will take a shot from distance.
37.00: PENALTY! Another sweet strike by the flyhalf sees the ball sail through the middle of the posts. 17-9
38.00: Kurt-Lee Arendse gives away another penalty, this time for taking out the man in the air. The Sharks, however, lose their fourth lineout, Jenkins is at it again.

52.00: TRY! Dylan Richardson drives low, and through two defenders to score out wide. Sikhumbuzo Notshe had carried to the line, taking three players with him before stopping short. Nohamba patiently waited for the support runners before passing to the hooker to score. 24-14

57.00: TRY! Gans has his second as well after a superb counter-attack. Kurt-Lee Arendse chased Steyn’s grubber kick, gathered and took two defenders with him before offloading to Gans, on his outside shoulder. 29-14
