A knee strain suffered by Daniel Carter is the only Crusaders injury following last night’s 25-19 victory over the Chiefs in Hamilton.

Crusaders doctor Tony Page said Carter had strained the joint capsule in the back of his right knee and was expected to be rested for the early part of next week.

Page said prop Campbell Johnstone, who missed last night’s match with a calf strain, was progressing well but a decision had not yet been made on when he would return.
