The Cheetahs were too strong for the South Western District Eagles in their compulsory friendly rugby match at Outeniqua Park, George on Friday night.

The Free Staters won by 42-15 after leading 28-7 at halftime.

The visitors scored six tries to two and dominated all phases of the match. They got the upperhand up front and controlled proceedings throughout.
