Cheetahs make two changes for Sharks clash

The Cheetahs have made just two changes from the side that lost to the Bulls in their team to face the Sharks in Durban on Friday.


In the forwards Frans Viljoen comes in for Ashley Johnson and in the backs Corne Uys who is injured is replaced by Danwel Demas.


Lionel Mapoe (pictured) who scored the match’s opening try last week moves to inside centre in order to cover the injured Uys while Demas is named on the wing.


Riaan Viljoen retains his place at fullback but Hennie Daniller who also plays fullback is bumped up to the bench.


Kick-off is at 6pm.

Riaan Viljoen; Danwel Demas, Meyer Bosman, Lionel Mapoe, Jongi Nokwe; Naas Olivier, Tewis de Bruyn; Frans Viljoen, Juan Smith (capt), Heinrich Brussow, David de Villiers, Nico Breedt, WP Nel, Adriaan Strauss, Wian du Preez.


Replacements – Ryno Barnes, Coenie Oosthuizen, Waltie Vermeulen, Ashley Johnson, Sarel Pretorius, Sias Ebersohn, Hennie Daniller.
