Captain Jono Gibbes (ribs) and centre Niva Ta’auso (ankle) are the Chiefs big injury concerns as they head into Saturday’s Hurricanes match.
Jono Gibbes rib problem kept him out of last week’s Cheetahs match and Ta’auso had to leave the field in last weeks match.
Sam Tuitupou is also said to be struggling but there is good news for the Chiefs. They hope to have Mils Muliaina back for this week and Mark Ranby is a hopeful starter too.
