Chiefs centre Niva Ta’auso will fly home to New Zealand with the Chiefs squad on Saturday night.
Ta’auso was taken off the field by stretcher with a suspected neck injury during the Chiefs v Cheetahs match in Bloemfontein. He was assessed in hospital in Bloemfontein immediately after the injury, has since been dismissed and cleared to fly with the Chiefs tonight. He is reported to have soreness in his neck.
The Chiefs are due to arrive in New Zealand early on Monday morning.
