Combrinck boost for Lions against Stormers

Johannesburg Super Rugby team the Lions have been boosted by the return of Springbok wing Ruan Combrinck for this weekend’s match against the Stormers.

Combrinck picked up the injury while on duty for his Japanese club Kintetsu Liners and was forced to return back to South Africa. He makes his return ten days before the Lions depart on their tour to Australasia.

In the only other change to the starting line-up Marvin Orie returns to the starting line-up and on the bench Johannes Jonker comes in for Jacobie Adriaanse.

The Emirates Lions have a bye next week and will leave South Africa on 17 April. The Lions take on the Waratahs (Sydney), Reds (Brisbane),Hurricanes (Wellington) and Highlanders (Dunedin)

When the Lions return they will host the Brumbies.
